Airtight Doors Depend On More Than The Panel
A closed door does not always mean a sealed doorway. Tiny spaces around the frame can allow air to move between rooms, especially when pressure or temperature differs on either side. Airtight Doors are designed around this problem, using a combination of panel construction, seals, frames, and closing hardware to reduce unwanted air passage.The concept is easier to understand when looking at the door edge.
