RSVSR EGRT 17 Guide for the Best BO7 Season 2 Build
Queue into Black Ops 7 Season 2 and you'll spot the same thing in every feed: the EGRT-17 deleting people before they can even blink. If you're testing builds in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby, it shows up even faster—this rifle just feels "right" once you start tightening it up. Stock, it's quick and hits hard enough, but the kick is a little messy and it starts to lose fights when the range stretches out. Fix those two problems and the gun turns into the kind of AR that makes you play faster without meaning to.
Start with recoil and range
First thing I do is the muzzle, because it sets the tone for the whole build. The Redwell Shade-X Suppressor is the easy pick: you stay off the minimap and the recoil settles down in a way you can actually feel. After that, the 19.1″ XR-Compulsion Barrel is where the EGRT-17 stops feeling like a "close-mid" rifle and starts tagging people across lanes. Bullet velocity matters more than folks admit, especially when everyone's shoulder-peeking headies. For the underbarrel, go Sentry Pro Handstop or Bowen Sentry Foregrip—both calm the side-to-side wobble that ruins your follow-up shots.
Handling tweaks that win messy fights
Once the recoil's under control, the gun still needs to feel snappy. That's where the Nanite Grip and Buffer Springs come in. You're not trying to turn the EGRT-17 into an SMG; you just want it to stop feeling like it's stuck in mud when you get surprised. With those two on, your aim settles quicker and the rifle behaves when you snap onto a second target. It's also a big help in those awkward doorframe duels where you're half pre-aimed, half panicking, and the other guy's doing the same thing.
Prestige ammo and the "try-hard" option
If you're playing tougher lobbies and you like taking weird angles, the MFS Heated Echo Rounds are the spicy upgrade. Ricochets up to three times sounds like a gimmick until it bails you out—someone crouched behind cover, you bounce a few shots, and suddenly it's a free kill. The catch is the recoil climbs back up, so you can't be lazy with your pulls. Still, the extra damage range is real, and aggressive players get paid for it when they keep pressure on rotations.
Class setup that actually supports the rifle
Don't cheap out on the rest of the loadout. Run the Gunfighter Wildcard so you can stack the attachments without awkward compromises. For perks, Ghost keeps your flanks clean, Fast Hands saves you during those long reload moments, and Cold-Blooded stops streaks from making you play scared. Stim Shot covers your mistakes, and Semtex clears the usual corner nonsense. If you're also looking to gear up faster or grab game items without the grind, it's worth checking out services like RSVSR while you're dialing in this EGRT-17 class for ranked and regular matches.
